Feds: Avenatti Stole Money From Stormy Daniels

Celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti is facing new charges related to his work for the adult-film actress Stormy Daniels.

Federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York charged Avenatti Wednesday with fraud and identity theft connected to his work for the adult-film actress Stormy Daniels while he was her attorney.

Prosecutors say he stole nearly $300,000 from Daniels and used it, among other things, to buy a Ferrari.
