Labour's Richard Watts Commends Islington Students For Climate Change Efforts
Young people in London grabbed picketing signs and took to the streets demanding action on climate change as part of a global movement on Friday, May 24.
In this video, Labour Party politician Richard Watts addresses a group of children via megaphone, speaking about future efforts toward climate change.
More than a million young people were expected to join similar protests in more than 100 countries on Friday.
The strikes were inspired by teenager Greta Thunberg, who last year protested outside Sweden’s parliament.
