China Accuses U.S. Of Lying To The Public

Reuters reports China on Friday accused U.S. officials of misleading the public about their trade war.

The US and China are currently in a stalemate after several rounds of talks, due to the U.S. demanding that China address U.S. grievances, including theft of intellectual property and subsidies for state enterprises.

The US earlier this week increased tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods, and in turn China effectively banned U.S.
