Boris Johnson has launched his campaign to become the next leader of the Conservative Party.
During his speech in Central London the former foreign secretary said he was “not aiming” for a no-deal Brexit but “it was only responsible” to prepare “vigorously and seriously” for one.
He warned that failure to honour the referendum vote risked handing power to Jeremy Corbyn and Labour at the next general election.
"After three years and two missed deadlines, we must leave the EU on October 31," he said.
"Delay means defeat.
Delay means Corbyn.
Kick the can and we kick the bucket." Report by Blairm.
