A family was stunned to find a stray bull on their roof on June 15 and struggled to bring it down.
The bull had climbed the narrow staircase to the roof of the house in Beri village of Jhunjhunu district in northern India unnoticed.
The hungry bull, which had possibly gone up to find food, was then unable to find its way back.
Finding that bringing down the 400-kg adult animal was no easy task, the family called for help.
A team of volunteers quickly assembled to rescue the bull and called a vet to tranquilise it.
Then they bought in a crane and harnessed the drowsy animal to it and the crane operator gently brought down the bull.
