Locals Help Family of Ducks Safely Cross the Road in Dublin

It was fine weather for ducks in a sodden Dublin on June 14, and one mother and her ducklings were making the most of it.

On their walkabout, though, they had to cross a potentially dangerous road.

Not to worry – some locals ensured they kept safe, guiding the family to a pedestrian crossing.

Footage posted on Facebook by the Leopardstown Inn, a local pub, captured the group guiding the ducks to the other side of the crossing.

β€œSome lovely locals made sure this duck and her chicks safely crossed the road.

Not all heroes wear capes,” the pub wrote alongside the heartwarming footage.
