Cricket fans celebrated wildly in London’s Trafalgar Square after England won the Cricket World Cup for the first time on Sunday, July 14.
England and New Zealand finished on 241 each after 50 overs, meaning the tournament came down to a crucial super-over shootout.
Both teams scored 15 in the super over – but England won thanks to hitting more boundaries in their 50 overs.
