7-20 Baseball Hall of Fame inductees discuss being in Cooperstown and getting into Hall
We're proud to serve little falls..
And all of the greater utica region.
Legends here on main street in cooperstown.
Fans have lined the streets as baseball greats strolled on by.
Alicia we've been talking about them for the past couple of days - and today we finally hear from the 2019 baseball hall of fame induction class.
Headlining this year's class is mariano rivera - the first uniaminous selection into the baseball hall of fame.
Rivera played 19-years in the big leagues - winning five world series titles.
He is the m-l-b all-time saves leader with 652.
Mooooose...rivera's former yankee teammate mike mussina had kind of a tale of two careers.
He started as a bronx bomber rival - spending 10 years with the baltimore orioles.
He joined the yanks in 2001 - pitching his final eight seasons in new york.
He was a five-time all- star - and seven-time gold glover.
Both guys - along with the rest of their induction classmates - say this weekend has been beyond special and its still sinking in they are a member of baseball's elite fraternity.
