Daylight drone video from our sister station, whas, shows the utter devastation to the area...things are just gone...the earth torched.

One woman died...identified as 58 year old lisa derringer of stanford.

State police think she escaped her home...but once outside...died from the intense heat.

The explosion happened around one or 1:30 this morning in the moreland area.

State police say five people were hurt...everyone is accounted for.

"according to ksp, around 1 am, flames from the gas explosion shot 300 feet in the air and could be seen from at least thirty miles away.

Ksp confirms the expolsion happened after a 30 inch gas line ruptured."

Trooper robert purdy says there was about 4 to 500 yards between the first home and the initial explosion.

He adds everything within that 500 yards had some level of burn damage.

"the area is void of trees, of grass.

The people that were there described it as looking more like mars more than anything.

It's just the red dirt is all that you can see and gravel, rocks, that's all that's left in several areas."

75 people had to be evacuated from their homes enbridge..

The company that operates the gas line, says the line was shut down and pressure was decreased on two other gaslines in the area following the blast.

That blast was so powerful officials say debris hit cars a quarter mile away.

The explosion and fire also damaged a nearby railroad track and it was so hot it melted the track causing the back-up of 17 trains, according to purdy.

"the ground was so hot the asphalt that circles the area looks more like a gravel driveway."

Amidist the chaos, there were acts of heroism, including from a lincoln county deputy who saved an elderly couple that were outside.

The deputy says it was so hot he could feel the heat through his windshield and there was fire everywhere.

The deputy and the couple were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.

Trooper purdy praised the deputy's courage.

"without him being there at the right time, we could've had more fatalities and casualties than what we had."

The cause of the gas line rupture is still under investigation.

C1 3 want to talk about the fuel injection service for your vehicle.

Reasons you may need a fuel injection service regardless of the miles that you have on your vehicle, is one, if you notice a decreased gas mileage from your vehicle.

Two, if your vehicle is stalling or sputtering, especially sitting at a light, the throttle plate may be dirty and not opening or closing fully, causing an issue.

Three, if you hear a little pinging in the engine, this can be an indication that the injectors aren't spraying the fuel like they need to.

If this is the case, or the situation, bring it into s&s tire and let us perform a fuel injection service.

When we do that, that's a three step process.

It usually takes under an hour, but the first step is we actually take the throttle body apart, we expose the plate, we clean it up of all the carbon deposits on there that maybe cause it to get stuck, or not opening or closing all the way.

That would increase, or that would cause a problem with the fuel mileage.

Two, we actually use the engine's natural vacuum to pull in the chemical cleaner into the intake to clear the interior of the carbon deposits, which will create and issue.

And the third step, we actually put a cleaner into the fuel tank and let it run through the entire system, through the lines to the injectors, to the plugs, to help clean that up and keep your vehicle running smoothly.

As of course, we always recommend a fuel injector service with every tune up, so check your manufacturer specs for your tune up.

And a water rescue caught on camera in iowa.

Jeremy roth has the video..

In today's take a look at this!

--reporter pkg-as follows-- video captured below a kentucky dam is shocking ... literally department of fish and wildlife personnel used electro-fishing equipment to stun and collect asian carp for a population sampling study on lake barkley.

Don't freak out -- stunning does not kill the fish, only temporarily shocks them so they can be counted or caught.

But why, you ask?

Asian carp are considered an invasive species, and to control the problem officials regularly evaluate the population, and deploy measures to keep them from invading sensitive areas.

Experts figure they're just "getting a jump" o a fishy problem.

Over to iowa, where an intense waterway rescue was caught on camera police released video of officers working to save two people trapped in the des moines river.

After a raft capsized, the pair went into the water and over a turbulent dam.

Police and firefighter rescue teams were alerted and assisted in the rescue by locals both victims were pulled out and have been treated and released from a local hospital.

Finally, in a groundbreaking procedure ... surgeons in india successfully removed 526 teeth from the jaw of a seven-year-old boy.

The child had experienced swelling for several years.

X-rays revealed a mass containing hundreds of miniature teeth it took surgeons 5 hours to remove them and each fragment resembled a tiny tooth with a crown and a root- like structure.

He adds everything within that 500 yards had some level of burn damage.

"the area is void of trees, of grass.

The latest data breach -- targeted around 100 million capital one customers in the u.s. and 6-million in canada.

A 33-year-old female hacker from seattle is now in custody, and the company says that it's unlikely that the information was used for fraud.

They also say that no credit card numbers or log-ins were compromised.

But, if you're a capital one customer concerned that you may be affected, here's what you should do: first, check your email - the company notified its customers of the data breach.

They will offer free credit monitoring services for those who were affected.

Check your accounts - look at your statements for suspicious activity.

If you find something odd, you should freeze your card.

Bob ferguson, seattle attorney general: if theyve been impacted by the data breach if they had their information stolen or lost dollars, they should let my office know that helps us to look at next steps for my office to take.

If you find suspcious activity, you can also freeze your credit.

This ensures that no one will try to take a loan in your name.

It also means that no one can access your credit report.

So if you apply for a loan, you'll have to unfreeze your credit.

And once you get credit monitoring, you should turn on the notifications, so that all activity under your i.d.
