Nathan Patterson has inked a contract with the Oakland A's after video was uploaded of him throwing at a speed-pitch radar booth.

The clip, which was filmed by his brother Christian, was at the Colorado Rockies' Coors Field.

The 23-year-old's experience only includes high school baseball and recreation leagues.

According to 'USA Today,' the A's were aware of Patterson before the video at Coors Field.

He had also thrown heat at a Nashville Sounds minor league game, a squad affiliated with Oakland.

Words cannot describe this feeling, and I cannot thank everyone enough who has been part of this journey so far.

My family has given me nothing but constant love and support throughout the last nine months as I pursue a dream of mine that I’ve had since I was a little kid, Nathan Patterson, via Instagram.
