(SOUNDBITE) (English) ASSISTANT POLICE COMMISSIONER JANE MACLATCHY SAYING: "We believe these are the bodies of the two suspects." Assistant police commissioner Jane MacLatchy said the bodies were discovered in dense brush found near Gillam, Manitoba, not far from items "directly linked" to the suspects...19-year-old Kam McLeod and 18-year old Bryer Schmegelsky.

Wednesday's grim discovery was made thousands of miles from British Columbia -- the scene of their alleged crimes.

The pair in July were accused of killing a university lecturer and murdering two tourists, Australian Lucas Fowler and American Chynna Deese, whose deaths sparked a massive manhunt.

Authorities turned their attention to Manitoba after a burned vehicle believed to belong to the teens was discovered and confirmed sightings were reported.

The teens' cause of death has yet to be determined, pending an autopsy.
