GAMES FLAG BEING PASSED TO CHILE PRESIDENT SEBASTIAN PINERA STORY: The 2019 Pan American Games came to a close on Sunday (August 11) with a spectacular ceremony at the National Stadium in Lima.

The Games, which opened on July 26, were the largest sporting event ever to be held in Peru.

The next edition will take place in Santiago, Chile in 2023.
