New South Wales Fields Blanketed in Snow as Cold Snap Continues
Snow blanketed fields surrounding Mount Macquarie in New South Wales on August 12 as a cold snap brought freezing temperatures to the region.
Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology said a high pressure system would bring frosty nights to the east of the country throughout the week, with the cold weather spreading north into Queensland.
This footage, shared by the Farmer from Down Under Facebook page, shows white fields from Carcoar to Mount Macquarie, as well as Mayfield Garden in New South Wales.
