Liverpool won the European Super Cup after beating Chelsea in Istanbul.

According to CNN, the game ended 2-2 with extra time and had to proceed to penalties.

Goalkeeper Adrián stopped a shot from Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, winning them the game.

Adrián recently joined the team, leaving West Ham and replacing Simon Mignolet.

Although few thought he would get any time, started Alisson Becker was injured on opening day.
