President Donald Trump said trade talks between the U.S. and China were productive.

According to Reuters, he said they are expected to meet with China in September.

This is despite U.S. tariffs on over $125 billion worth of Chinese imports taking into effect Sept.

While Trump said this, China vowed to counter the latest U.S. tariffs on $300 billion of Chinese goods.
