Trump Says He Will Raise Percentage Of Tariffs Against China

The Trump administration said it would once again raise tariffs on China.

Escalating the trade war.

President Donald Trump he said tariffs on the $250 billion of imports would raise from 25 percent to 30 percent.

According to Business Insider, he also raised the remaining $300 billion of imports.

Those would go into effect on Sept.

1 and would be taxed at 15 percent rather than 10 percent.

Before Trump made the announcement, CHina vowed to retaliate if the U.S. followed through with the tariffs.
