3 for over 40 years festival acadian et creole has been hilighting the best of cajun and creole culture...tonight they unviled the design for this years poster design... news 15's leigha mcneil has the reveal and more about this years theme stand up: festivals acadian et creole is known for their food music and culture but at this years festival they are taking a step back and comerating the women behind it all.nats sot: "with the theme of the festial being the lyrical legacvy of the feminine voice in acadian and creole music is right up my ally in terms of my work."

After months of hard work and 30 rough drafts later artist melissa bonin finally finished this years poster designsot: "we wanted it to be just right."nats by takin a deeper dive into his culture festival director barry ansel beleived its was time to honor the women who have kept the culture alive.sot: "there were women who werent on stage that were singing at home singing to their famlies and then there were women who went out and and collected this stuff and preserved it."

Barry wanted to make sure the festival is true to its theme from beginning to end sot: "the programing that happend this year is is going to feature a lot of women singers women preformers."

Though the frstival is a month away...with a record number of female preformers and a female artist behind the design..the celebration and uplift of creole cajun women has already begun sot: "we both put everything we have into it we are very pleased with the results."
