Hundreds of people are endangering kids every day.in the first month of school ... fort wayne police issued more than 100 tickets to drivers who failed to stop for school buses.fox 55's cody butler has more.

That's because police can't be everywhere.the driver of this jeep didn't get a ticket when he ran a stop arm on south anthony this afternoon.

Authorities across the state have been focusing on bus stops after three kids were killed last november when a woman failed to stop for their bus.

Fort wayne police just wrapped up a month-long blitz at bus stops and school zones across the city.sgt.

Sofia rosaels - scatena says she was hoping wouldn't get the results that they did.

Fort wayne community schools transportation director frank jackson says the numbers don't surprise him.

On april 23 ... f-w-c-s drivers counted 120 driving right by their stop arm.the count was part of a nationwide survey ... which saw significantly more violations in a single day.in the end ... jackson says this enforcement blitz is more than just writing tickets.
