LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) - It was another night of high school football action across central KY.


Football sea c1 3 heating up.

Pulaski and henry clay in our game of the week.

Franklin county showing they are for real.

And how about lexington catholic and l-c-a?

The rivals are playing some serious ball oh yea...frederick douglass..still really really good.

The high school highlight reel starts now.

Welcome in to the high school highlight reel.

I'm bryan kennedy c1 3 and this is austin miller.

Just last week, the pulaski county maroons were on the road and won a tough one against corbin 23 to 22.

The tough road trips continue.

Tonight was actually their third straight game in enemy territory.

This time in lexington..

Taking on the henry clay.

The blue devils are looking to bounce back from and oh and two start.

The blue devils and the maroons...your game of the week.

First quarter, josh mcclurg decides to keep and he will run it in for touchdown.

Darius neal will carry it in from a few yards out.

Mmclurg would finish with 3 touchdowns through the air.

Broncos win easily 49 to zero.

To frankfort now franklin county hosting the anderson county bearcats.

3rd and 23 for the flyers... no problem.

Nick broyle's fires one 29 yards...nearly scraps that full moon... to fred farrior and he makes the catch 49-13 flyers flyers are not done...tariq lester with the carry starts left...breaks a couple tackles...he's still going.

He will end up int he endzone... the 37 yard touchdown run by lester makes it 52-13 franklin anderson's jagger gillis will score from one yard out.

Flyers fly away with this one easily...53 to 19.

Lexington christian came into mom and dad always wanted to run an orphanage.

They had five of us instead.

But they still wanted to adopt and give someone a forever home.

Kentucky said, "five kids?"

"no more."

So, they went outside kentucky to adopt me.

My father ran for governor to make it easier to bring kentucky's foster children into permanent homes.

And he has.
