American Cancer Survivor First To Swim The English Channel Four Times Non-Stop

A 37-year-old American cancer survivor became the first person to swim across the English Channel four times non-stop.

Sarah Thomas, an open water marathon swimmer from Colorado, completed the feat at around 6.30am Tuesday morning.

According to CNN, Thomas completed the swim more than 54 hours after she set off from the British port of Dover.

After landing at Shakespeare Beach Thomas said she felt "a little sick," but was rallied by her husband and team.
