According to the lafayette fire department when firefighters arrived to the apartments in the 300 block of jefferson street the fire was already completly out.

Officals say the fire started in a kitchen on the fourth floor of the complex after a pot of grease was left unattended on the stove.

The sprinkler system was able to put out the fire before anyone was injured.

Also this morning....the bridge between university place apartments and ul's campus is finally getting a makeover l-c-g approved a contract with the apartment owners...giving them ownership of the bridge.

Safety concerns and public versus private disputes over the years caused the bridge to be blocked off.

Now, the apartment complex can construct a private pedestrian bridge with a 100-thousand dollar allownece from the city.

The city funds are to upgrade the bridge and repair any damage from the floods.

If you've had to travel on camellia boulevard over the past few months, you've probably started taking an alternate route by now.

:my intention with the video was to send the message out there that you have a tax payer funded debate that put a million dollar criteria which is basically you have to pay to play, and i dont know if enough people are frustrated about it.

Hebert says he watched the debate from home...but would have preferred a chance to debate his platform.so if we dont do something different and the voters dont wake up, they pretty much gonna get what they deserve, and its going to be the same old same old and were going to lose our country.> we reached out to the five candidates who took part in the debate.

Of the five-- foster campbell's campaign official declined to comment.

Our biological clock has a way of regulating how alert and how sleepy we get over a 24-hour period.and because that cycle can change as we age... working at certain times of the day or night can jeopardize your health.

For teens and young adults..

Later may be betteraccording to dr. jess shatkin, a psychiatrist at new york university, adolescents tend to go to bed later..

And wake up later..because they release melatonin - a hormone linked to our biological clock later in the night than adults do.

Shatkin says, young adults shouldn't start school or work earlier than 9 or 10am.

For adults in their 20s and 30s..

Consistency is keystudies show thebest type of work schedule for people in this group should reflect the person's lifestyle preferences..whether an early bird or night owl.
