Avert Your Eyes? DOJ, Roger Stone Quarrel Over 'Godfather' Clip

The Justice Department and the attorneys of President Donald Trump's longtime associate Roger Stone remain in a standoff.

At issue is whether jurors should be shown a clip from “The Godfather, Part II” during Stone's upcoming trial.

In it, Frank Pentangeli backtracks from giving Congress damning testimony about the Corleone crime family.

The government argues it makes it a “critical part” of the DOJ's case charging Stone with lying to Congress and obstruction of justice.
