Jim Cramer: Don't Let Politics Get In The Way Of Your Investing

Jim Cramer answers a key question: What's it going to take for investors to trust the American side of the U.S.-China trade war?

Cramer explains that there are a lot of doubters of progress in the trade talks.

He points to political rifts as one explanation.

But in an interview with TheStreet's Katherine Ross, Cramer warns investors to stay out of the political fray, and focus on markets and indicators.

For example, watch what China does, not what it says.

"I'm not a political guy.

What I care about is helping people make money," said Cramer.

Meanwhile, Cramer says he likes JPMorgan.

He also makes an investing suggestion: buy American Express.
