Muslim Kalyankari Samaj, a civil society group, in Nepal held anti-China protest rally in Pokhara city. It condemned the atrocities against Uyghur Muslims, a minority community in China. Protestors were carrying placards condemning mayhem against Uyghur Muslim community. Human rights groups have blamed the Chinese government for Mass arbitrary detention, torture, forced political indoctrination, and mass surveillance of Uyghurs in Xinjiang province.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) called Muslims as 'Pakistani', Sardars as 'Khalistani', activists as 'Urban Naxal' and students as members of 'Tukde Tukde gang' and 'anti-national' then who is 'Hindustani' in this country, asked Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti on November 29. She said, "They call Muslims as 'Pakistani', Sardars as 'Khalistani', activists as 'Urban Naxal' and students as members of 'Tukde Tukde gang' - 'anti-national'. I fail to understand if everyone is terrorist - anti-national, then who is 'Hindustani' in this country?Only BJP workers?"
Samajwadi Party (SP) MP from Moradabad ST Hasan called ‘Love Jihad’ a political stunt and asked Muslim boys to consider Hindu girls their ‘sisters’. He said, “Love Jihad is a political stunt. In our country, people choose their life partners irrespective of religion. Hindus marry Muslims and vice versa. However, the numbers are very low. But if you dig deep into 'love jihad' cases, you would find that girls know that boys are Muslims. But due to societal pressure or internal issues in the family, they lie and it becomes a case of Love Jihad.” He added, "I advise Muslim boys to consider Hindu girls as their sisters. Laser show was held at Chet Singh Ghat of the Varanasi city on the occasion of Kartik Purnima on Nov 29. Kartika Purnima marks the fifteenth lunar day of the Hindu month of Kartik. Devotees light earthen lamps and visit temples to offer prayers on the auspicious day.

51,000 earthen lamps were illuminated at Ram Ki Paidi on the banks of river Saryu as devotees gathered to celebrate Kartik Purnima. "I'm very happy to be part of this event. I'm fasting and praying to Lord Rama on this occasion," said a devotee.
AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi lashed out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on November 28 after he made a pitch for renaming Hyderabad as Bhagyanagar. Owaisi hit back at Yogi during a rally saying, “You will be renamed not Hyderabad.” While campaigning for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections on Saturday, Yogi Adityanath said, “Some people were asking me if Hyderabad can be renamed as Bhagyanagar. I said, 'Why not?' I told them that we renamed Faizabad as Ayodhya and Allahabad as Prayagraj after BJP came into power in Uttar Pradesh.
