The statement from North Korea follows unspecified remarks by former Vice President Joe Biden, which criticized the Kim Jong Un regime.

"Anyone who dare slanders the dignity of the supreme leadership of the D.P.R.K, can never spare the D.P.R.K's merciless punishment whoever and wherever." - Korean Central News Agency, via Fox News.

D.P.R.K.

Refers to North Korea's formal title, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

"Rabid dogs like Biden can hurt lots of people if they are allowed to run about.

They must be beaten to death with a stick, before it is too late." - Korean Central News Agency, via Fox News.

Biden has consistently been a target of the North Korean ire.

In May, Biden was labeled a "fool of low IQ" by the regime.

The Biden campaign fired back on Friday.

"It's becoming more and more obvious that repugnant dictators, as well as those who admire and 'love' them, find Joe Biden threatening." - Andrew Bates, Biden Campaign, via Fox News.

"That's because he'd restore American leadership in the world on day one by putting our security, interests, and values at the heart of our foreign policy." - Andrew Bates, Biden Campaign, via Fox News.

A portion of Bates' statement refers to President Donald Trump's words during a rally in which he said that he and Kim Jong Un "fell in love."
