The news adds to a series of problems facing the workspace provider.
Founder Adam Neumann was ousted as CEO when WeWork was purchased in full by SoftBank.
WeWork's IPO paperwork rang alarm bells when news of Neumann's financial mismanagement came to light.
However, Neumann managed to walk away from the company with over $1 billion from SoftBank.
