Actor Chadwick Boseman steps into the roll of a New York City cop for his new action thriller, '21 Bridges'.

"21 Bridges" cast members, Chadwick Boseman Sienna Miller, Stephan James and Taylor Kitsch reunited in Manhattan for the film's world premiere on Tuesday (November 19).

In the movie Boseman's character teams up with Miller, who portrays a Brooklyn narcotics detective, to hunt down two cop killers.

Authorities have the island of Manhattan placed on lock down by closing all 21 Bridges to stop the suspects from escaping.

Boseman, who also served as producer on the film said he knew it would be exciting to watch.

"Everything wasn't in place, but I also could see like the type of cast that we could put together and shift things around a bit.

So, that's exciting, just sort of putting together a group of actors that you want to play with and bounce off of." The project marks the first time Miller is stepping into a action film, complete with a Brooklyn accent.

"I'm always looking to do something different and I had never done anything like this.

And I was really excited by the idea.

Because it felt like a kind of an action movie, but much more of a psychological thriller at the same time." The film will be released in U.S. theaters on November 22 and will be up against "Frozen 2" and the Mr. Rogers bio-pic, "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood."
