> after a few weeks of collecting, kadlec's giving tree efforts are coming to life.("áin a minuteá") today, the hospital dropped off cash and other donations to my friend's place, a teen homeless shelter.

They also loaded up about 200 backpacks for children entering the foster care system.

They're full of socks, hygiene products and other items kids may need.

The richland fire department delivered the backpacks to the department of children
