The Wisconsin Supreme Court voted 4-3 in favor of overturning Gov. Tony Ever’s stay-at-home order. Chief Justice Patience Roggensack called the order a “controlling, subjective judgement.” Evers then accused the high court and Republican-controled legislature for causing “chaos.” According to Business Insider, as the order was lifted, people began crowding places like bars. In some places where people went to drink, patrons did not wear masks and ignored social-distancing rules.

A bear which has a jar stuck on its head is rescued in Marsh-Miller Lake in Chippewa County, Wisonsin. Tricia Hurt, who captured the incident on camera, said that the animal had made it back to shore safely after the jar was removed.

The U.S. national tally of COVID-19 cases stands at more than 2.4 million with nearly 125, 000 deaths. According to Gizmodo, a spike in cases happened when a number of states decided to reopen. Now states like Florida and Texas are reclosing bars or banning the consumption of alcohol at its bars. Kaiser Health News reported that bars in Idaho, Louisiana, Wisconsin and Florida are linked to coronavirus outbreaks.

In the United States, if one political party is doing well, it tends to publish polls that say so. And according to CNN, the Democratic party is publishing an awful lot of polls these days. Democratic and liberal aligned groups have put out 17 House polls taken in April or later. However, Republican-aligned groups have put out zip, zilch, nada. Zero. That's a very bad ratio for Republicans. It hasn't always been that way, though.

But, a new poll of Democratic voters could be bad news for the senator. According to Fox News 19% found her to be a “not acceptable” choice, the highest negative rating of any of the 11 candidates listed. Her negative views rose among white voters.

Sunday, officials from Inner Mongolia revealed a shepherd has been diagnosed with bubonic plague, also known as the Black Death. At the same time, a second case has been identified in neighboring Mongolia. Both patients had had contact with a wild marmot, and both are recovering. In the region, subsistence hunting is common.
Hundreds of scientists across the world have a burning question for the World Health Organization. According to Gizmodo, they just petitioned the WHO via an open letter with one demand. The demand is that the WHO acknowledge publicly that the novel coronavirus behind COVID-19 can be airborne. Career app LinkedIn and social media discussion app Reddit have both been monitoring each and every keystroke of Apple iPhones. According to Gizmodo, LinkedIn says this was due to a bug in the company’s iOS app and not intended behavior. Reddit’s snooping was reported by iOS 14 beta users and shared on social media. The company says it does not store or send the content, adding that it was releasing a fix immediately.

A new study says survivors can suffer headaches and muscle weakness, along with visible signs of damage to the brain.
