According to CNN, the Washington Redskins has launched an internal investigation after team staffers were accused of sexual harassment and verbal abuse. The accusations were made by 15 former employees, who are women, and two journalists who covered the team. On Thursday, the Washington Post published screenshots of text messages from Richard Mann II, the team's assistant director of pro personnel who was just fired.

Maryland-based biotechnology company, Novavax, said on Tuesday its experimental COVID-19 vaccine produced antibodies against the novel coronavirus and appears to be safe, according to an early-stage study. President of Research and Development, Dr. Gregory Glenn told Reuters the experimental vaccine “looked good in animals. Now it looks really good in people."
The school attended by President Donald Trump and Melania Trump's youngest son, Barron, has ended on-campus learning. The news comes as the president demands a return to in-person classes around the country. On Friday, CNN reports Montgomery County, Maryland, ordered that private schools not conduct in-person learning until October 1st. Barron Trump is slated to enter 9th grade in the fall. He had worked there for 23 years. He dedicated his life and career to caring for the sickest patients. US President Donald Trump abruptly escorted out of the White House briefing room by a Secret Service agent while he addressing reporters on Monday afternoon. Trump, however, returned minutes later, saying there was a 'shooting' outside the White House. "There was a shooting outside the White House and it seems to be very well under control. I would like to thank the Secret Service for doing their always quick and very effective work. But there was an actual shooting and somebody has been taken to the hospital. I don't know about the condition of the person. Seems like the person was shot at by the Secret Service," he said. Trump said he was escorted to the Oval Office by the agent. He also praised work of of the Secret Service personnel. Law enforcement officials are trying to determine the suspect's motive. The suspect was transferred to a local hospital. District of Columbia fire dept said the man suffered serious or possibly critical injuries. Authorities are investigating whether the individual has a history of mental illness. White House was placed on lockdown following the incident. The shooting reportedly took place near 17th Street & Pennsylvania Avenue, just blocks from the White House.

Indians in the United States celebrated the foundation laying ceremony of Ayodhya's Ram Temple. Indians gathered outside Capitol Hill in Washington for the celebration. People wore saffron clothes, held saffron flags to celebrate the Bhoomi Pujan. Members of Indian community also chanted 'Jai Shri Ram'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed 'bhumi pujan' & laid foundation stone of the new Ram temple. PM Modi also offered prayers at Hanumangarhi and the idols of 'Ram lalla' or child deity. All participants, including PM and priests, wore face masks and observed social distancing norms. Attendance at the event was limited due to outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP CM Yogi Adityanath also attended the grand ceremony. Construction of Ram Temple is beginning 9 months after SC verdict. Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust is overseeing temple construction.
