BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on September 24 slammed Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee over latter's criticism against the farm bills. He said the West Bengal CM is opposing the agriculture bills because all 'cut money people' (middlemen) will vanish due to these farm reforms. "I want to assure the farmers of the state that this bill will prohibit the exploitation of farmers," he added.
Amidst protest from some fellow BJP MLAs, a major reshuffle in Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh-led coalition government took place on September 24 by dropping six cabinet ministers and inducting five new MLAs including two ex-MLAs who had resigned from the Congress party. The swearing-in ceremony was also attended by BJP's vice president Baijayant Jay Panda and BJP North East general secretary (organisation) Ajay Jamwal. "This kind of reshuffling is normal in politics. Whatever I'm doing is with blessing of central leaders. I hope we can work more for development," says CM N Biren Singh The two ex- MLAs inducted as ministers today are Okram Henry Singh and Oinam Lhukhoi Singh. Both were Congress MLAs who had resigned from the state assembly and joined the BJP in August this year. The other three inducted as ministers in the government are MLAs Sorokhaibam Rajen, Thokchom Satyabrata Singh and Vungzagin Valte. All three are from the BJP. One more cabinet seat is still yet to be filled as six cabinet ministers have been removed from the government.
Wreath laying ceremony of the two CRPF personnel held in JandK's Budgam on Aug 18 who had lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Baramulla on Aug 17. The terrorists had fired bullets on joint naka party of CRPF, JandK Police at Kreeri area of Baramullah yesterday. 1 Special Police Officer of JandK Police and 2 CRPF soldiers have lost their lives. One terrorist involved in attack had also been killed by security forces on August 17.

Badole sustained severe injuries in terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam on September 24. Terrorists attacked a CRPF party in Kaisermulla area at Chadoora.
A political activist from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) has demanded the United Nations to declared Belt and Road Initiative projects between China and Pakistan as illegal. Dr Amjad Ayub Mirza, while making at intervention during the 45th Session of UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Genava also said that Pakistan is collaborating with China to make Gilgit Baltistan as its 5th province. He said, "Pakistan is attempting to illegally make Gilgit- Baltistan her fifth province. On October 31st, 1947, Pakistan instigated a coup d'etat in Gilgit agency with the collaboration of British officers of Gilgit scouts and occupied Gilgit Agency. By attacking the state of Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit Agency, Pakistan has committed a war of aggression, crime against peace and crime against humanity, all I wish tend amount to war crimes." "Today, we are faced with double colonisation of Gilgit-Baltistan as China joins Pakistan under the Belt and Road initiative", he added. In his intervention Dr Mirza said, "More than 100 human rights activists are languishing in prisons. For every 25 people, Pakistan has deployed one soldier in Gilgit- Baltistan. Almost every single government official serving in Gilgit-Baltistan is Pakistani." "Our natural resources are being plundered. UN resolutions regarding Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit- Baltistan seem to have become obsolete hence a new approach has become the need of the hour. Therefore, I demand that Pakistan be tried for war crimes and that the world should collectively demand withdrawal of the Pakistan Army from our lands. That all belt and road initiative projects between Pakistan and China should be declared illegal by the United Nations," he told UN. Dr Mirza said, "A truth and reconciliation commission should be set up to investigate the 1990s genocide of Hindu Pandits and Kashmir committed by Pakistan Sponsored Jihadi Terrorists in collaboration with local Muslim clergy".

The CRPF personnel succumbed to injuries he received during terrorists attack in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists attacked a CRPF party in Kaisermulla area at Chadoora. CRPF DG AP Maheshwari expressed grief on trooper's sacrifice.
A CRPF officer was killed in attack by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam. Assistant Sub Inspector N C Badoley belonged to CRPF's 117 battalion. The terrorists attacked the CRPF party in Kaisermulla area at Chadoora. Police said terrorists also decamped with Badoley's service weapon, an AK assault rifle. Badoley succumbed to injuries at Army's 92 base hospital at Badami Bagh. Police said the area has been cordoned off and a manhunt launched for terrorists.

Jammu and Kashmir Police along with the security forces busted a terror module and arrested two persons in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch. According to police, plan was for targeted killing and IED explosions in the region. The police and security forces also recovered IEDs, 3 Pistols, 11 grenades, IED making instructions in a pen drive, wireless sets etc. Case has been registered and investigation is underway.
Jammu and Kashmir Police have recovered stolen mobile phones which are worth almost Rs. 26 lakh. These mobile phones were stolen by robbers from a mobile phone shop in Gojwara. During the course of investigation, services of FSL unit as well as electronic surveillance units were utilised. Police have arrested 3 people in the connection.
JandK General Operation Commanding (GOC), Victor Force, Major General A Sengupta on August 28 informed that 8 terrorists were neutralized and one was forced to surrender during two operations of over 18 hours. "Under two operations over 18 hours commencing from yesterday afternoon, based on very precise intelligence and hard work of JK Police and RR battalions, we were able to neutralise 8 terrorists, including taking one surrender," said Major General Sengupta. He further added, "7 of the 8 terrorists who have been neutralised were recruited in 2020, and these misguided youth were recruited with the false promises by Pakistani terrorists, Pakistani handlers and people in society with anti-national sentiments."
District president of Budgam's BJP Other Backward Class Morcha Abdul Hamid Najar was fired upon by terrorists on August 09. He has been shifted to a hospital. Attack on BJP leaders have increased recently in the valley. Earlier BJP gram panchayat leader was shot dead in JandK's Kulgam. BJP-affiliated panchayat member, Arif Ahmad Khan, was also shot in Kulgam district.
A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and sarpanch was shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Sajad Ahmad Khanday was shot near his home in south Kashmir's Kulgam. Police said that the incident took place on Thursday. Terrorists fired at Khanday from close range at Vessu in Qazigund area. Khanday was rushed to a hospital in nearby Anantnag district where he was declared brought dead by doctors. The incident comes less than 48 hours after a BJP-affiliated panchayat member was shot at in Kulgam district. On Tuesday, terrorists had fired upon sarpanch Arif Ahmad Khan at Akhran Village. He had sustained an injury to his neck, the police had said. Khan is currently recovering from his injuries in hospital.
