Watch: Terror attack on CRPF men in J&K, days after cops' Pak drone revelation

Terrorists reportedly launched a terror attack on personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force in Jammu and Kashmir.

The attack took place in Srinagar's Nowgam, as per reports with no injuries or casualties so far.

The terrorists' target was 110 Battalion of the CRPF.

The attack came days after a big revelation by Jammu and Kashmir's police chief.

Director-General of the Union Territory's police force, Dilbag Singh, had said that Pakistani agencies were dropping weapons and drugs via drones to try and disturb peace in the region.

Police informed that the explosion caused minor injuries to ASI Asim Ali. Police added that the injured CRPF personnel was shifted to Tral hospital. The area has been cordoned off and a hunt has been launched to nab attackers.

Militancy not one-way route, will welcome your return: Top Army Commander's appeal

Indian Army has reiterated that it will welcome those local militants in Kashmir who choose to shun the path of violence. General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps Lieutenant General BS Raju on October 26 appealed to the misguided youth to shun militancy, which he said was not a "one-way route", adding that Army will welcome those wanting to return to mainstream. Lieutenant General Raju made the appeal while talking to reporters on the sidelines of Yusmarg festival in Budgam district of central Kashmir. "I appeal to youth who are ready to shun militancy to return to their homes as the environment is favourable for them for starting a peaceful and dignified life," Lieutenant General Raju told reporters at Yusmarg Mela organised by Army and was attended by some 3500 people of all age groups. Numerous events were organised at the mela which included sports and cultural programs catering to the interest of youth who said they enjoyed participating in the mela hosted by the Army.

Situation has improved (in Kashmir), youth should use it. Young ones should focus on studies, others should work and not choose wrong path. It's my appeal- If you've picked up arms and shot a video, doesn't mean you are a terrorist, you can come back."

Mufti said the Central government has failed to solve the country's issues. The former J&K CM said the government keeps coming back to Article 370. Mufti was in detention from August 5 last year following the abrogation of the special status of the erstwhile state. After being freed, she tweeted: "After being released from fourteen long months of illegal detention, a small message for my people," followed by an audio message. Kashmiri football trick-shot artist makes India proud

A young Kashmiri is not just doing the Union Territory proud, but the country altogether by winning global praise for his jaw-dropping football trick shots, many of which are viral on social media. Recently Shah Huzaib, a Class 11 student from Charar-Shareef area of Budgam district, became the first participant from Jammu and Kashmir in an international football trick-shot competition, organised by Cristiano Ronaldo Fragrances. Aspiring to become a successful football trick-shot artist, Huzaib started nurturing his skills since 2016. "Initially I wanted to play cricket but after trying my hand (read feet) at football with my cousins, I started enjoying this sport unlike anything else," Huzaib told ANI. But he decided to try trick shots after seeing a youtube video. After emerging as the fourth runner up in the international event, the youth's videos started becoming viral as the 'Kashmiri trick-shot artist'. With firm support from his family and friends, who encouraged him to make videos and utilise social media, Shah began to propagate his talent of playing football trick shots online. He has about 300 posts on social media that have a huge following. Huzaib's passion for trick shots has only emboldened his dreams of a future where his talent would attract people on a national scale and inspire them. "Huzaib's football skills have inspired the youth of Kashmir to try something different and succeed at it. I request the J-K administration to provide him with all sporting amenities," Syed Burhan, the young footballer's friend.
