Javadekar slams Chidambaram over his demand to bring back Article 370

The Information and Broadcasting Minister, Prakash Javadekar slammed Congress leader P Chidambaram's demand to bring back Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Can Congress party mention it in their manifesto for Bihar Elections?

They know that decision of abrogation of Article 370 was welcomed by the people of the country," said Prakash Javadekar.

The Minister also hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and said that be it any topic, he likes to appreciate Pakistan and China.

"Congress leader Rahul Gandhi too, in his speeches, praises Pakistan.

Be it any topic, he likes to appreciate Pakistan and China.

This is the point of view of Congress party," Prakash Javadekar added.

President of West Pakistan Refugee Action Committee, Labha Ram Gandhi said, "This is first time in 72 years that we're voting in local body polls. We're happy to participate in democratic process." According to J-K Election Commission, 37.17 percent voter turnout was recorded till 11 AM. The last phase of voting for DDC is on December 19 and counting of votes will take place on December 22.

MDH owner Mahashay Dharampal Gulati dies at 97, Delhi CM pays tribute

India's 'Spice King' Mahashay Dharampal Gulati passed away on Thursday morning. Gulati was the owner of the famous spice company MDH Masala. The 97-year-old was undergoing treatment at Mata Chanan Devi Hospital. Gulati was reportedly undergoing post-Covid treatment and suffered a cardiac arrest. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and paid respect to the popular personality. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia also paid his tributes to the 'inspiring and lively soul'. Popularly known as 'Spice King', Gulati was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2019. The MDH owner was born in Sialkot (now in Pakistan) on March 27, 1923. Gulati had moved to India after partition and set up his business in Delhi. MDH (Mahashian Di Hatti) was founded by his late father Mahashay Chunni Lal Gulati.
