Delhi Police organize Commemoration Day Parade

With the arrest of two accused persons from IGI Airport, Delhi Police has worked out a blind murder case within 48 hours of the incident in which a dead body of a male was found in a jungle area near IGI Airport.

A PCR call about a murder was received in Police Station IGI Airport.

Immediately a police team rushed to the place of information at jungle area.

At the spot, the dead body of one male person was found lying there.

The scene of crime was photographed and the exhibits were lifted.

On the statement of the complainant, a case was registered at P.S.

IGI Airport, New Delhi.

During the course of investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was last seen with three persons namely Bhujang, Balak and Nepali in the jungle area.

The witness of the incident was traced by a police team and the two accused persons arrested at the instance of the witness.

During the interrogation, both the accused persons confessed their crime.

Further, investigation of the case is underway.

Indira Gandhi International Airport, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajeev Ranjan ensured that security has been tightened. Rajeev Ranjan said, "We have got inputs that Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has threatened that two Air India flights scheduled for London tomorrow won't be allowed to operate. We have had a meeting with all the stakeholders. The security has been tightened. This airport is already a sensitive place therefore the security is always ensured here but considering the threat the security has been tightened even more."

Delhi's borders continie to remain under tight security in view of farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' protest march. Farmers from Punjab, Haryana have called for a two-day protest over Centre's new farm laws. Haryana Police deployed more than 1,500 security personnel at Faridabad-Delhi border. Police used water cannon and tear gas to disperse farmers at Shambhu border, near Ambala. Drone camera has also been deployed for security surveillance at Delhi-Faridabad border. Security was heightened on Thursday morning to stop protesting farmers from coming to Delhi. Earlier, Delhi Police rejected requests from farmers' unions to hold protest in the city. Farmers in Punjab have been staging protests against new farm laws passed in September. Several opposition parties have termed these contentious agricultural bills as anti-farmer.

In the wake of farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' protest march, heavy security has been deployed at Singhu border (Haryana-Delhi border) to stop the agitating farmers. Farmers in Punjab have been staging several protests against the three new farm laws, passed by the central government in September this year. Parliament had passed the three agriculture Bills--The Farmers' and Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020, and The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill, 2020. Several opposition parties have termed these legislations as anti-farmer.

Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police solved a home loan fraud case and arrested the accused person Sachin Sharma. Accused had taken a house on rent in Surajmal Vihar of east Delhi and took three loans worth Rs 6.70 crore against rented house by preparing a forged chain of title documents. One of the home loans was taken in the name of a dead person. In this regard, a case was registered at Police Station EOW, New Delhi and investigation was taken up. During investigation, it was revealed that the accused was involved in a criminal conspiracy with accomplices. Under the supervision of senior officials, the police team arrested the accused and produced him before the court. Further investigation is in progress.

Delhi Police nab accused in sensational murder case

Solving a sensational murder case in the national capital, Delhi Police has arrested one Naresh, who is accused of killing a man after a scuffle had broken out between them last week in Vikaspuri area. A PCR call was received at police station Uttam Nagar that some persons are firing. When police team reached the place of incident, no eye witness was found. However, after enquiry it was revealed that the injured, Firoz, was shifted to an unknown hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. During investigation, a secret informer was deployed, spot investigation was conducted and clue of suspect was developed. Due to smart policing, the accused Naresh Kumar was arrested from Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar. Naresh, during interrogation, revealed about a scuffle between him and Firoz, and disclosed that he committed the offence along with his sister, brother in law and niece. After the death of Firoz at hospital, section 302 of IPC was added in the case.
