Protestors were carrying placards condemning mayhem against Uyghur Muslim community. Human rights groups have blamed the Chinese government for Mass arbitrary detention, torture, forced political indoctrination, and mass surveillance of Uyghurs in Xinjiang province.

I fail to understand if everyone is terrorist - anti-national, then who is 'Hindustani' in this country?Only BJP workers?"
Samajwadi Party (SP) MP from Moradabad ST Hasan called ‘Love Jihad’ a political stunt and asked Muslim boys to consider Hindu girls their ‘sisters’. He said, “Love Jihad is a political stunt. In our country, people choose their life partners irrespective of religion. Hindus marry Muslims and vice versa. However, the numbers are very low. But if you dig deep into 'love jihad' cases, you would find that girls know that boys are Muslims. But due to societal pressure or internal issues in the family, they lie and it becomes a case of Love Jihad.” He added, "I advise Muslim boys to consider Hindu girls as their sisters. Don't get lured, because a law has been framed under which you could be subjected to tremendous torture. Save yourself and don't get into any temptation or love.” Watch the full video for more.

Dilip Ghosh, president of BJP's West Bengal unit, trained his guns on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the poll campaign picks up pace. Ghosh said Banerjee gets terrified whenever senior BJP leaders like PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah visit the state. He was reacting to the Trinamool Congress chief calling BJP leaders 'outsiders' following Shah's recent trip. Ghosh also repeated his charge that the TMC is turning Bengal into Bangladesh. A day earlier, Union minister Rajnath Singh said that the BJP may even end up winning a 2/3rd majority in the state. He was speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. Visakhapatnam administration proposes to convert Bangladeshi vessel 'MV Maa' into a floating restaurant after obtaining statutory clearance and clearance from its owner. 'MV Maa', anchored at Vizag Port Trust, drifted into sea in October, when its anchor broke and is at Tenneti Park now. Speaking to ANI, Visakhapatnam District Collector (DC), Sri V Vinay Chand said, "Vessels' fuel was fully offloaded to prevent further sinking. Process of various clearances is going on. State government can take it up as a tourism project." "We are thinking of a floating restaurant. However, we are awaiting all the formal clearances," he added.
PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday said elections are no solution to the Kashmir problem and called for a dialogue between India and Pakistan to address the issue. She also accused the BJP-led government at the Centre of “murdering the democracy” in the name of District Development Council (DDC) polls as alliance candidates were being confined to homes while others enjoyed full freedom to campaign. The PDP chief said the alliance candidates were not allowed to freely campaign for the DDC polls. "Our people do not have security. They have been confined to their homes and not allowed to run poll campaign while BJP candidates are freely roaming around. This is not done? Will this country run on the BJP's agenda?"They tell us not to talk about Article 370. BJP ministers visit Kashmir and nine out of 10 times, they talk about the revocation of Article 370. I fail to understand that when they are confident that Artilce 370 is gone and will not be restored, why do they get rattled so much when I speak about it," she said. After nearly a decade of unlawful imprisonment by the Pakistan government, political activist Baba Jan has finally been released. Baba Jan's arrest had sparked a global controversy, with protests in Gilgit-Baltistan for his immediate release as recent as September this year. Baba Jan who was serving life imprisonment in Damas jail in district Ghizer was released after 9 years. Baba Jan is a political activist from Hunza and a member of Awami Workers Party. Baba Jan was serving life imprisonment along with others after being convicted by an anti-terrorism court over the mass demonstration against the government's silence in the Attabad incident that left thousands homeless. The massive landslide blocked the Hunza River and submerged several villages in January 2010.
