One of the only Autumn-Winter live shows this New York Fashion Week, designer Jason Wu pays homage to a place that sparked his creativity amid lockdown: The kitchen.

These models are serving you lockdown looks this New York Fashion Week.

In one of the few live fashion shows held amid the health crisis, this one, Dubbed "Mr. Wu's General Store" by Designer Jason Wu, is set somewhere most of us have gotten to know over the past year: The grocery aisle.

The 38-year-old said his Autumn-Winter 2021 show drew inspiration from the kitchen, which he said was a creative outlet.

Adding, quote, "The joys that I experience from cooking and spending time with loved ones make me hopeful to celebrate the moments that really matter." Fashion shows have adapted.

Loose-fitting long dresses and skirts, knitted sweaters, fringe and snakeskin boots, pops of color -- the models walked between rows of fresh produce set up in an empty Broadway shopfront.

In line with his 1950s Americana theme, Wu also partnered with Coca-Cola, diving into the U.S. brand's archives to unearth prints, logos and styles.

Wu rose to fame for designing former first lady Michelle Obama's 2009 Inaugural Ball gown..
