New tonight--- a public safety officers --- on a local campus -- is being hailed a hero -- after saving a life.
The university of southern indiana says -- officer matt responded to an emergency call of a 16- year old boy -- who had possibly overdosed.
Thinking quickly -- the officer was able to give the teen a dose of narcan -- saving the boy's life.
