The Tehama County District Attorney says a 2020 police shooting that killed a gunman at the Walmart distribution center in Red Bluff was "lawful."

The shooting killed two people - including the gunman in late june.

The d-a says lois lane - a former employee here - rammed his car into the building, got out and then started shooting at employees.

One of the employees died later.

It all came to an end when lane was killed in a shootout with two red bluff police officers.

The d-a also says lane most likely started shooting here during a shift change so he would have more people to target.
